Abstract

The foundation of the PLTG/MG MPP East Kalimantan 30 MW substation construction project is planned to use minipile and pile cap based on sondir test at 3 testing points. To ensure that the foundation is able to support the construction load on it, it is necessary to know the carrying capacity of the pile foundation at that point.

Carrying capacity of piles based on calendaring data is calculated using a dynamic formula. The results of analysis of pile bearing capacity based on calendaring data using the Hilley Formula resulted in Qa point 1 of 31.32 Tons, point 2 of 25.06 Tons, point 3 of 28.91 Tons, and point 4 of 26.84 Tons. PCUBC Formula produces Qa point 1 of 25.36 tons, point 2 is 23.18 tons, point 3 is 24.60 tons, and point 4 is 23.88 tons. Eytelwein Formula produces Qa point 1 of 32.87 tons, point 2 is 29.62 tons, point 3 is 31.71 tons, and point 4 is 30.63 tons.

Analysis of calculation of one pile foundation safety factor produces SF> 6, meaning that the pile foundation is safe in supporting the construction load above. Analysis of carrying capacity of pile foundations based on calendaring data can be used as a reference in evaluating pile foundation work and is the basis for consideration by field supervisors in determining when erection work can be stopped.
